The figure is shown draped in a segmented cuirass or torque collar with horizontal ridges, characteristic of late antique regal iconography as reinterpreted by Visigothic die-cutters. The bust is surrounded by a circular Latin legend reading + SISEBVTVS REX, arranged around the inner border of the coin.
