The cross design is executed in bold relief with squared, block-like arms, reflecting the angular hammered style of the Quentovic mint. The surrounding field contains further geometric or pellet motifs arranged in a structured layout. A circular legend in Latin script runs around the periphery. The reverse composition conforms closely to the standard reverse type of Frankish tremisses attributed to the moneyer Anglus. |
