Descrizione del dritto	Large voided cross occupying the central field of the concave flan, with the Christological inscription IC XC (or O O in variant issues) distributed across the upper quarters and decorative stars positioned in the lower quarters. The cross is rendered in the Byzantine scyphate tradition, with the voided arms extending nearly to the rim. The overall design reflects the strong Byzantine artistic influence prevalent in Second Bulgarian Empire coinage.

Descrizione del rovescio	Enthroned frontal figure of Tsar Konstantin I Tih (r. 1257–1277), depicted in imperial regalia in the Byzantine manner, holding a labarum staff in his right hand and a globus cruciger in his left.
