The Hijri mint date appears within or adjacent to the legend, varying by year of issue. The die is hand-engraved with characteristic Central Asian style, exhibiting slightly irregular letter forms consistent with hammered coinage of the Bukharan emirate. The plain field surrounding the inscription shows the uneven flan surface typical of this series. |
