Thrymsa 'LONDINIV' type

Beschrijving voorzijde	Stylised facing bust rendered in a bold, schematic manner characteristic of early Anglo-Saxon die-cutting. The visage is depicted in high relief with prominent arched brows, a broad nose, and a strongly outlined mouth, all executed with a degree of abstraction reflecting the influence of late antique prototypes filtered through Germanic artistic tradition. The hair or headdress is suggested by incised lines framing the face at the periphery of the flan. The field is plain, with the design occupying the full extent of the irregular hammered flan. No legend is present on the obverse.
