| 背面描述 | At centre, the word MANET (meaning 'it remains') displayed within a large, finely rendered laurel wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Above the wreath, a flowing scroll banner bears the motto SOLA·SPES·MEA ('my only hope'), the ends of the banner extending to either side. The composition conveys a devotional funerary sentiment, typical of Saxon memorial coinage of the period. A milled border runs along the coin's rim. |
