| Beschrijving voorzijde | Seven-line Latin funerary inscription within the field, framed by a plain inner border, reading: + / D·G· / MAGDALENA· / SIBYLLA·ELECTRIX· / SAXONIAE·PROSAP· / MARCH·BRANDENB· / NAT·1612·DENAT·1687 / DIE·20·MART·, with a small cross ornament below. The inscription commemorates the death of Magdalena Sibylla, Electress of Saxony, born 1612 and died 20 March 1687. The lettering is executed in a bold, upright roman capital style characteristic of late 17th-century Saxon coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | At centre, the word MANET (meaning 'it remains') displayed within a large, finely rendered laurel wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. Above the wreath, a flowing scroll banner bears the motto SOLA·SPES·MEA ('my only hope'), the ends of the banner extending to either side. The composition conveys a devotional funerary sentiment, typical of Saxon memorial coinage of the period. A milled border runs along the coin's rim. |
