| 背面描述 | Crowned shield bearing the eleven-fold arms of the Prussian royal house, with the mintmaster's initials flanking the shield on either side. An oval cartouche below the shield displays the denomination 2/3, while the date appears divided at the base of the composition. The Latin motto SUUM CUIQUE (To each his own), the Prussian royal motto, arcs around the design as the primary reverse legend. |

Frederick I was crowned King *in* Prussia on January 18, 1701 — a careful diplomatic distinction forced on him by the Holy Roman Empire, which refused to recognize a king *of* Prussia over territory partly within imperial boundaries. The ⅔ Thaler denomination itself was a concession to commerce: it equated to the Dutch Rijksdaalder and circulated widely in northern European trade networks that cared little for Hohenzollern dynastic ambitions.
The .750 fineness fell below the Leipzig Convention standard, a deliberate choice that kept production profitable while the new kingdom burned money establishing its court at Berlin.
