The date 1762 is divided across the shield, with the mintmaster's initials IE/VC visible in the lower portion of the field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, reading the titles of the joint rulers Friedrich Botho and Carl Ludwig. The coin exhibits fine milled edge detail and well-executed die work consistent with the Stolberg Mint production of the period. |
