Obverse description Central field features a large crowned quartered coat of arms of the County of Stolberg, displaying the heraldic devices of the associated lordships including Königstein, Rossla, Wernigerode, and Hohenstein, supported by two rampant lions. The date 1762 is divided across the shield, with the mintmaster's initials IE/VC visible in the lower portion of the field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, reading the titles of the joint rulers Friedrich Botho and Carl Ludwig. The coin exhibits fine milled edge detail and well-executed die work consistent with the Stolberg Mint production of the period.
