| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare head of Aphrodite facing left, rendered in fine archaic-Classical Greek style with long flowing hair swept back and falling loosely behind the neck. The facial features are delicately modelled with a straight profile, prominent brow, and slightly parted lips. The hair is arranged in wavy strands with a simple taenia or fillet visible along the crown. The flan is irregular, typical of hand-struck Cypriot silver coinage of the late 4th century BC. |
