Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing left, rendered in fine archaic-to-classical transitional style. The goddess wears a Attic helmet pushed back on her head, with the bowl and cheekguard clearly articulated. The facial features are carefully modeled with a prominent nose and a strong profile, characteristic of mid-4th century BC Mysian coinage. The hair falls in a stylized curl behind the neck, and the overall composition fills the flan with confident, deeply cut relief.
