| 背面描述 | A kantharos, the two-handled wine cup sacred to Dionysos, depicted in bold relief at the center of the field, with a wide body, pronounced foot, and two upward-curving handles flanking the vessel. The cup is rendered frontally, occupying the majority of the flan. The ethnic legend ΜΕΝΔΑΙΩΝ, identifying the issuing city of Mende, is distributed in the field to either side and around the kantharos in Greek characters, serving as the primary inscription of the reverse type. |
