| Beschrijving voorzijde | Celticized male head facing left, derived from the Macedonian prototype of Philip II or Alexander III, rendered in bold La Tène artistic style. The hair is depicted as a mass of large, leaf-shaped or almond-like pellets arranged in an elaborate coiffure sweeping back from the forehead, a hallmark of Eastern Celtic die-cutting. The facial features are stylized yet expressive, with a prominent circular eye, a rounded chin, and scroll-form curls at the nape and beard area. Flowing drapery or neck elements are suggested by incised lines below the head. The entire design is framed by a border of raised pellets encircling the flan. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A prancing horse advancing to the right, rendered in characteristic Eastern Celtic abstract style with exaggerated musculature and elongated, sickle-shaped legs terminating in globular pellet hooves. A dotted arc curves over the horse's back, and a large S-shaped spiral and a circular pellet-in-ring symbol occupy the upper field above the animal. To the left of the horse stands a geometric, square ornamental symbol with pellet decorations at each corner, likely a ritual or tribal emblem. The Greek-script legend ΠΛΛΛΛ is arranged in an arc along the upper margin of the reverse field. The design fills the irregularly shaped flan characteristic of hand-hammered Celtic coinage. |
