| Descrição do anverso | Celticized head of Zeus facing right, derived from the Macedonian prototype of Philip II, adorned with a prominent stylized laurel wreath rendered in the characteristic 'Zangenlorbeer' (pincer-laurel) style, with bold, abstracted leaf forms splaying broadly across the crown of the head. The hair is rendered in flowing, deeply engraved curvilinear locks falling behind the neck, reflecting the La Tène artistic tradition of organic abstraction. The facial features are boldly modeled with a pronounced brow, schematized eye, and strong jaw, exhibiting the vigorous Celtic re-interpretation of Hellenistic portraiture. No legend is present, consistent with the anonymous coinage of the eastern Celtic tribes. |
