The hair is rendered in flowing, deeply engraved curvilinear locks falling behind the neck, reflecting the La Tène artistic tradition of organic abstraction. The facial features are boldly modeled with a pronounced brow, schematized eye, and strong jaw, exhibiting the vigorous Celtic re-interpretation of Hellenistic portraiture. No legend is present, consistent with the anonymous coinage of the eastern Celtic tribes. |
