| Beschrijving keerzijde | The king, Vonones I, is depicted seated facing right on a throne, wearing a diadem and draped in royal garments, extending his right hand in a gesture of reception or investiture. Before him stands the goddess Tyche, or a personification of Victory, facing left and presenting a wreath or diadem to the enthroned monarch. The surrounding field is filled with the Greek dynastic legend arranged in multiple lines, and a date formula appears in the exergue in Macedonian month notation. The composition follows the established Seleucid and early Parthian iconographic tradition of royal investiture scenes. |
