| Obverse description | Helmeted head of Athena facing right, wearing a Attic crested helmet adorned with a palmette on the bowl and a floral scroll above the visor, with flowing locks of hair visible beneath. The goddess's features are rendered in the late New Style Athenian tradition, with a serene, idealized countenance and a prominent earring visible. The hair falls in wavy strands over the nape of the neck behind the helmet cheekpiece. A fine beaded border encircles the entire obverse field. |

| Reverse description | The Athenian owl (Athena's sacred bird) stands facing, with head turned to face the viewer, rendered in high relief with characteristic large round eyes and detailed feathering. To the right stands a small figure of Athena Promachos, helmeted and holding a spear and shield. To the left, a vertical inscription in Greek names the magistrates responsible for the issue. Above, an olive branch and a crescent moon flank the owl. The entire design is enclosed within an olive wreath border, with the ethnic ΑΘΕ appearing prominently to the upper right of the owl. |
