| Obverse description | Diademed head of Seleukos III Keraunos facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with wavy locks of hair swept back beneath the royal diadem, its ends visible behind the neck. The portrait displays a youthful, idealized physiognomy with a strong profile and delicate facial features characteristic of late Seleucid court engraving. The field is plain, and the coin is bordered by a raised bead-and-dot dentilated rim. |

| Reverse description | Apollo, nude, seated left upon the omphalos, his right hand raised to test the point of an arrow while his left arm rests upon a grounded bow at his side. The god is depicted in a composed, introspective pose consistent with the dynastic Seleucid reverse type derived from Apollo Musagetes iconography. The Greek royal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ runs along the upper and lower periphery. Two control monograms appear in the outer field: (ΞΥ) to the left and (ΩΡ) to the right, serving as mint or magistrate identifiers for the Antioch on the Orontes issue. |
