| Obverse description | Diademed bust of Phraates V facing left, rendered in Hellenistic style with characteristic Parthian features including a wart on the brow, short hair, and a visible ear with earring. The king wears a spiral torque at the neck, and the diadem ends bear the regnal year date BIT corresponding to year 312 of the Seleucid Era. A flying Nike appears in the field before the bust, and the legend BASILEOS BASILEON (King of Kings) is disposed in two lines flanking the portrait. |

A four-line Greek inscription encircling the design reads THEAS OURANIAS MOUSES BASILISSES, identifying the queen as the Heavenly Goddess Musa, Queen. |
