Beschrijving voorzijde Right-facing heroic portrait of Herakles in fine high relief, the hero's scalp surmounted by the lion-skin headdress whose gaping jaws frame the upper brow and knotted forepaws fall at the neck. The idealized facial features—strong jaw, sensitively modelled ear, and flowing hair curling beneath the pelt—display the refined Lysippan-influenced style characteristic of early post-Alexander Macedonian coinage. A fine beaded border encircles the design, and the broad, slightly irregular flan exhibits the lustrous hammered silver surface typical of the Tarsos mint in the early Diadoch period.

Beschrijving keerzijde Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left upon a backless throne, his near-nude figure rendered with calm authority; he extends his right hand to support an eagle with closed wings and holds a lotus-tipped sceptre upright in his left. In the upper left field, Nike flies rightward bearing a wreath, serving as a secondary divine symbol of victory. Below the throne, the monogram ΑΝΤΙ identifies the issuing authority at Tarsos. The principal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the enthroned deity, asserting royal Alexandrine authority under the regency of Philip III Arrhidaios.
