The idealized facial features—strong jaw, sensitively modelled ear, and flowing hair curling beneath the pelt—display the refined Lysippan-influenced style characteristic of early post-Alexander Macedonian coinage. A fine beaded border encircles the design, and the broad, slightly irregular flan exhibits the lustrous hammered silver surface typical of the Tarsos mint in the early Diadoch period. |

The principal legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in two lines flanking the enthroned deity, asserting royal Alexandrine authority under the regency of Philip III Arrhidaios. |
