背面描述 Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology, depicted in a dynamic flying or leaping posture to the left, rendered in a heavily Celticised and abstracted manner. The body of the creature is rendered as a large, rounded mass with broad, angular wing forms extending upward into the field. The legs are summarily indicated, and the head is shown in profile to the left. The overall composition reflects the progressive stylistic abstraction characteristic of Eastern European Celtic imitative coinage derived ultimately from Corinthian or Macedonian prototypes. The field is plain with no legend or exergual inscription.

附加信息

The Pegasus-type tetradrachms issued by Celtic groups in the eastern European interior derive ultimately from Corinthian stater prototypes, absorbed and radically abstracted over generations of copying by craftsmen working outside any centralized monetary authority. Attribution remains contested — "Uncertain Eastern European Celts" covers a wide geography, and die studies have yet to produce consensus on a single tribal origin. Kostial 461 and Göbl's classification place this piece within a recognizable typological cluster, but the issuing group's identity may never be resolved with confidence.
