The diadem is tied at the back with trailing ends visible, asserting royal authority. The portrait is struck in high relief with sharply defined facial features — a strong aquiline nose, well-defined chin, and a slightly parted lip — displaying the accomplished engraving characteristic of the Pergamene mint. The field is otherwise bare, focusing all visual emphasis on the idealized royal effigy. |
