Obverse description Bust of Mithridates III facing left, depicted with a short, beaded beard and wearing a distinctive Parthian tiara adorned with a star-rosette at the centre and a row of pearls along the brim, with pendants falling behind the ear. The king's garment is richly decorated with dotted ornamental patterns, characteristic of late Parthian royal portraiture. The hair is rendered in a series of tight, globular curls framing the face and neck. The entire effigy is enclosed within a beaded border.
