| 表面の説明 | Radiate and cuirassed bust of Maximianus Herakles facing right, depicted with strongly modelled features consistent with late third-century Alexandrian die engraving style. The emperor wears a radiate crown with pronounced points and a cuirass visible at the truncation. The Greek legend ΜΑΞΙΜΙΑΝΟC CЄΒ (Maximianus Augustus) runs around the periphery of the flan. The portrait conveys imperial authority in the compact, somewhat stylized manner characteristic of Alexandrian tetradrachm coinage of the Tetrarchic period. |

| 裏面の説明 | Standing figure of Maximianus as Herakles, nude, facing left, holding a small figure or object in his extended right hand and a club or drapery in his lowered left hand, with a lion skin draped over his left arm. The composition references the emperor's divine association with Hercules, a hallmark of Maximianus's Tetrarchic propaganda. In the left field appears the regnal year numeral L (date marker), with ς (digamma, representing year 6) placed to the right, corresponding to the Alexandrian regnal year 6 of Diocletian's reign (290–291 AD). The reverse field is otherwise plain, with the figures rendered in the compact, slightly provincial style typical of late Alexandrian billon tetradrachms. |
