| Mô tả mặt trước | Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, adorned with the horn of Ammon curling behind the ear, a hallmark of his divine association with Zeus-Ammon. The hair is rendered in flowing, deeply cut locks radiating from the crown and falling in thick waves behind the neck, executed in the vigorous Hellenistic style characteristic of early Lysimachean coinage. The portrait displays finely modeled facial features with a strong profile, aquiline nose, and slightly parted lips. No legend appears on the obverse field, the imagery alone serving to assert Lysimachus's legitimacy through association with Alexander's divine legacy. |

The Greek legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ to the right and ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ to the left encircles the central figure, identifying the issuing authority as King Lysimachus of Thrace. |
