In the left field, a monogram appears above a lion forepart advancing left, with a second monogram positioned below the throne, serving as mint and magistrate control marks. The primary legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading downward, attributing the issue to Alexander.
