Obverse description Youthful bare head of Heracles facing right, beardless, wearing the Nemean lion skin headdress with the scalp knotted beneath the chin, the lion's mane rendered in bold, deeply cut curls framing the face. The portrait displays the idealized Hellenistic style characteristic of Alexander III coinage, with finely modeled facial features and a pronounced jawline. The coin border is composed of a raised bead-and-dot dotted border. No legend appears on the obverse.
