Obverse description Helmeted head of Athena facing right, depicted in fine Hellenistic style with flowing locks of hair cascading beneath the helmet. The goddess wears an Attic helmet adorned with an elaborate crest and a decorative laurel wreath encircling the bowl, rendered with careful detail. The facial features are finely modeled, presenting a serene and idealized portrait characteristic of the Pergamene artistic tradition. The field is plain, with no border or inscription, allowing the portrait to dominate the flan.
