Obverse description Diademed head of the deified Alexander the Great facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style characteristic of Lysimachean coinage. The effigy bears the distinguishing horn of Ammon curling above the ear, asserting the divine lineage of Alexander. The flowing hair is elaborately rendered in thick, layered locks radiating from the crown, consistent with the iconic numismatic portrait type established under Lysimachus. The portrait is set within a plain inner field bordered by a finely executed beaded outer border. No legend appears on the obverse.
