| Description de l’avers | Diademed head of the deified Alexander III right, portrayed with the ram's horn of Ammon curling behind the ear, identifying him as son of Zeus-Ammon. The effigy exhibits the characteristic flowing, leonine hair rendered in deeply cut strands radiating from the crown, with fine die work capturing the idealized portrait style associated with posthumous Lysimachean coinage. The surface of the flan shows characteristic die wear consistent with a long-circulating issue. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Description du revers | Athena Nikephoros seated left upon a throne, her left arm resting on a large round shield set on the ground, a transverse spear visible in the background behind her. She holds a Nike in her extended right hand, who crowns the royal legend. The primary legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ runs along the upper and right fields. The secondary control inscription ΑΠΟΛΛΑ appears to the inner left of the figure, while the mint signature ΚΑΛΧΑ and an ear of wheat are placed in the exergue, identifying this issue as a posthumous civic tetradrachm struck at Calchedon. |
