| Reverse description | Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a low backless throne, his body draped from the waist, holding a long upright scepter in his raised left hand and an eagle with closed wings standing right in his extended right hand. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. To the left field appears a monogram, and below the throne a labrys (double-headed axe), serving as the mint control symbol of Miletos. The composition follows the canonical reverse type established under Alexander III. |
