Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his nude torso draped from the waist, holding an eagle perched on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, an oenochoe (wine jug) facing left appears above a monogram and the letter alpha (A), serving as mint control marks specific to the Temnos issue. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right side of the field, identifying the coin as struck in the name of Alexander. The composition follows the canonical reverse type established under Alexander III.
