The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, reading 'of Alexander,' while the monogram or control mark ΣΙ appears in the left field as a mint officina symbol. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established at the royal mint of Pella, displaying bold, confident engraving consistent with early post-reform production. |
