| Beschrijving keerzijde | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned to the left upon a stool-throne adorned with Nikai on the back, his outstretched right hand bearing an eagle and his left hand holding a long sceptre. In the left field stands a statuette of Athena facing, equipped with shield and spear, serving as a mint control symbol distinctive to the Corinth issue. Beneath the throne appears the Corinthian control mark ΟΛ enclosed within a wreath. The legend ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs in the right field, identifying this posthumous issue as struck in the name of Alexander III of Macedon. |
