Reverse description Zeus Aetophoros enthroned in left profile upon a low-backed throne with ornate legs, his muscular torso bare and his lower body draped in a himation. In his extended right hand he holds an eagle (aetos) facing left, while his left hand grips a tall sceptre rising vertically to the upper right field. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field and ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ along the lower exergual line, both in clear Greek capitals. In the left field appear two control marks: an eight-pointed star above, and below it a circular monogram enclosing the letters ΦΑ or similar, alongside a delta (Δ) beneath the throne, identifying the emission series struck at Corinth.
