| Descrizione del dritto | Youthful, beardless head of Heracles facing right, enveloped in the scalp of the Nemean lion worn as a headdress, the gaping jaws resting atop the hero's crown and the forepaws knotted loosely at the neck. The bold, high-relief portrait displays deeply modelled curling hair visible beneath the lion skin, with finely rendered facial features characteristic of the Lysimachan artistic tradition as transmitted to Pontic workshops. The field is otherwise plain, and no legend appears on the obverse. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Aetophoros enthroned left on a low stool-throne, his upper body nude and a himation draped across his lap and legs; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with wings closed, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre rising vertically behind him. The Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the inner left field a star appears above a monogram, serving as mint-control symbols specific to the Sinope issue; the letter Γ is placed in the outer right field as an additional control mark. The composition follows the canonical Alexandrine reverse type established under Alexander III of Macedon. |
