| Obverse description | Beardless head of Heracles facing right, depicted in three-quarter relief with idealised youthful features, enveloped in the lion skin headdress whose scalp covers the crown and the gaping jaws frame the face. The curling locks of hair emerge beneath the pelt at the nape and temple, rendered with fine incised detail characteristic of the Pamphylian die-cutting tradition. The finely modelled facial features — strong brow, aquiline nose, and slightly parted lips — follow the Lysippan portrait convention associating Heracles with Alexander the Great. The field is plain and uninscribed. |

| Reverse description | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless stool-throne, his body draped from the waist, the upper torso nude; his outstretched right hand supports an eagle with wings closed, while his left hand firmly grasps a long sceptre. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field, and the regnal date KΓ (year 23) appears in the left field, serving as the primary chronological control mark for this issue. The composition follows the canonical Alexander-type reverse established under Alexander III and perpetuated by posthumous civic issues throughout the Hellenistic world. |
