Tetradrachm - Huviska Kushana

Huvishka's reign produced an unusually diverse divine pantheon on his coinage — scholars have catalogued over thirty distinct deity types across his issues, more than any other Kushan ruler, reflecting the empire's absorption of Bactrian, Indian, and Iranian religious traditions simultaneously. The copper tetradrachms, struck across multiple mints as the empire administered territory from Bactria south through the Gangetic plain, circulated in an economy where gold dinars served elite transactions and copper handled everything else.

Göbl's typology for this series runs to nearly a hundred subvarieties when die combinations are included.
