| 表面の説明 | Bare male head facing left, adorned with a prominent three-strand pearl diadem rendered in bold relief; the hair is depicted in a stylised Celtic manner with large, rounded locks. A torque or pellet device is visible beneath the eye, a characteristic auxiliary symbol of the Gjurgjevac type. The facial features are rendered in the abstracted, plastic Celtic artistic tradition, with a broad jaw and pronounced brow. The flan is irregular and the relief shows characteristic die wear consistent with a hammered Celtic issue. |

The Gjurgjevac type takes its name from the Croatian town near which a significant hoard concentration was found, placing the coin's circulation zone firmly in the Drava River corridor — a region that served as a buffer between Norican tribal territory and the expanding Celtic settlements to the south. East Norican tetradrachms of this class represent a localized adaptation of the broader Macedonian weight standard, progressively debased and stylistically abstracted over generations of local die-cutting. Kostial's classification remains the primary reference because no systematic die study has superseded it.
