| Mô tả mặt trước | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Commodus facing right, rendered in the provincial style of the Alexandrian mint. The imperial effigy displays the characteristic portrait conventions of late 2nd-century Roman Egyptian coinage, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated around the head. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, identifying the emperor by his full titulature. The flan shows the typical irregular fabric of Alexandrian billon tetradrachms of this period. |

The deity is rendered in the classicising Hellenistic tradition favoured by the Alexandrian mint engravers. The regnal year date appears in the left field as a Greek letter numeral, serving as the primary dating element for this issue. The composition closely follows the standard Alexandrian reverse type for Zeus associated with Commodus-era tetradrachms. |
