She is draped in a flowing chiton and stands upon a cista mystica from which a serpent emerges, a symbol associated with Dionysiac cult and royal legitimacy. The multi-line Greek royal titulature is arranged vertically in two columns flanking the central figure, with a mint control mark visible in the lower exergue. The composition follows the established Seleucid and early Parthian reverse convention, rendered in bold, deeply cut lettering characteristic of the Seleucia on the Tigris mint. |
