Beschrijving voorzijde Diademed and draped bust of Artabanos III facing left, wearing a distinctive Parthian tiara adorned with a diadem tied at the rear with long flowing lappets. The king is depicted with a full, carefully rendered beard and moustache, and wears a torque necklace ornamented with pellets at the neck. The bust is clad in chainmail or scale armour visible at the shoulder, reflecting the Parthian royal martial tradition. The field is plain, with no encircling legend, the portrait executed in fine Hellenistic style with strong relief.

Beschrijving keerzijde Nike, depicted as a winged goddess standing facing left, extends a wreath in her right hand toward the viewer, while holding a palm branch in her left. She is draped in a flowing chiton and stands upon a cista mystica from which a serpent emerges, a symbol associated with Dionysiac cult and royal legitimacy. The multi-line Greek royal titulature is arranged vertically in two columns flanking the central figure, with a mint control mark visible in the lower exergue. The composition follows the established Seleucid and early Parthian reverse convention, rendered in bold, deeply cut lettering characteristic of the Seleucia on the Tigris mint.
