Athena wears a single-pendant earring and a necklace, with her imposing triple-crested Attic helmet elaborately decorated: the visor is adorned with the foreparts of four horses, a Pegasus in full flight to the right appears above the raised cheekpiece, and a curvilinear ornament embellishes the bowl. The portrait exhibits the refined engraving characteristic of New Style Athenian coinage of the late second century BC. |

Across the field, the names of the three magistrates are inscribed in four lines: ANTI-OXO / KAPA-IXOΣ / HΓH-MΩ. To the right stands an elephant facing right, a distinctive control symbol.
