| Descrizione del dritto | Youthful heroic head of Heracles facing right, wearing the lion skin headdress with the scalp pulled over the crown and the paws knotted at the throat, rendered in high relief with finely detailed mane locks cascading behind. The facial features display the idealized yet vigorous style characteristic of the early Diadochi period, with a prominent brow, aquiline nose, and parted lips. A beaded border encircles the field. The portrait follows the canonical Alexander-type iconography established under Alexander III, here continued posthumously by Antigonus as a statement of dynastic legitimacy. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a throne with a high back, his upper body nude, lower body draped, holding an eagle standing right with wings closed on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, the mint control monogram ΔΕ; beneath the throne, the secondary control mark ΗΡ flanked by decorative elements. The primary legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field in Greek characters. A dotted border frames the inner design. The composition follows the standard Alexandrine reverse type struck continuously by the Diadochi successor mints. |
