Reverse description Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a throne with a high back, his upper body nude, lower body draped, holding an eagle standing right with wings closed on his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre upright in his left. In the left field, the mint control monogram ΔΕ; beneath the throne, the secondary control mark ΗΡ flanked by decorative elements. The primary legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs downward along the right field in Greek characters. A dotted border frames the inner design. The composition follows the standard Alexandrine reverse type struck continuously by the Diadochi successor mints.
