| Beschrijving keerzijde | Stylized owl standing right with head facing forward, rendered in the abstract linear style typical of Lihyanite imitative coinage derived from the Athenian New Style or late classical tetradrachm prototype. An olive sprig appears to the left of the owl, reduced to schematic strokes consistent with the artistic conventions of this series. A Greek inscription appears to the right of the owl in the field. The design overall departs substantially from the Athenian archetype, reflecting local reinterpretation by Arabian die-cutters unfamiliar with the Hellenic iconographic tradition. |
