| Descrizione del rovescio | Dionysus, the patron deity of Abdera, standing to left in flowing robes within a linear square frame, holding a kantharos in his outstretched right hand and a conifer branch in his left. The magistrate's name ΑΝΑΞΗΝΩΡ is inscribed in Greek letters within the field. The entire design is recessed within a shallow incuse square, characteristic of the Abderan tetradrachm series and consistent with the archaic incuse technique employed by this mint. |
