| Opis rewersu | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a backless throne, his upper body nude, a himation draped across his lap and legs; his outstretched right hand bears an eagle facing right, while his left hand grasps a long sceptre. The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. In the left field appears a forepart of a head facing left wearing a Phrygian cap (a mint control symbol), and below the throne a triskeles, serving as a secondary control mark identifying the Sardis issue. |
